Sandra, who lives in Cardiff, will compete against 12 other women on the catwalk and in other competitions to see who will be crowned this year’s winner. This is not the first time Sandra has competed in these events having previously lived in the USA winning three competitions there.
The competition will take place on Saturday 6th August in Leeds during the Pride Festival which is a celebration for the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender communities throughout the world.
The sponsorship money Cadwyn have donated will help towards her transportation and accommodation over the competition.
Sandra said “I would like to thank everyone at Cadwyn not only for the sponsorship but for the support they have offered me, I struggle with anxiety and depression and without them I wouldn’t be able to take part in this”
Kathryn Stamp Neighbourhood Officer at Cadwyn said “It’s lovely for Cadwyn to be able to empower our tenants. It’s great to have supported Sandra through to the finals and we wish her the very best of luck!”
