Cadwyn does not have its own waiting list – there is one single waiting list in Cardiff for all social housing. It is administered by the Council who also co-ordinate housing advice and homelessness services. You can apply for social housing on www.cardiffhousing.co.uk
How to apply
You will be required to attend a Housing Application Interview, where you will be given housing advice based on your needs.
The Housing interview can be conducted in the Cadwyn Office (if you are an existing Cadwyn tenant) with your Neighbourhood officer or in your local hubs.
Who can apply?
Anyone aged 16 years or over can apply for housing in Cardiff. Some applicants may not be allowed onto the waiting list due to:
- anti-social behaviour
- immigration status
- certain criminal convictions
We offer all applicants housing advice to help you decide whether applying to join the common waiting list is the best option, and whether you are likely to be offered a home in the near future.
