Cadwyn is teaming with local partners for a new service to help residents who’ve recently been released from prison to develop stable lives, employment and tenancies.
The scheme is open to anyone living in a Cadwyn home who:
- Has left prison within the last 12 months;
- Is currently unemployed;
- And has at least one dependent child under the age of 18.
Through this project, we’ve secured roles with an excellent employer in the waste management sector directly involved in the development of the new Velindre Cancer Hospital in Cardiff. This company is committed to employing, training, and upskilling participants with the aim of making all work placements permanent.
Alongside the employment opportunity, our partner organisations will provide a comprehensive package of wrap‑around support, which may include:
- Money and budgeting advice;
- Familial and wellbeing support;
- Digital and employability support;
- Other tailored interventions to help individuals sustain employment.
Employment will begin in mid-March 2026 so, if interested for yourself or someone else living in a Cadwyn home, please email Lee.Dunn@Cadwyn.co.uk for more information at the earliest opportunity.
