We’re looking for an experienced manager to head up our brilliant IT team

We’ve been providing quality, social housing to the people of Cardiff for 50 years and attribute our success to our incredible staff, which is why we only recruit the best! As Head of ICT you’ll be responsible for leading a team of 5 and ensuring all of the organisation’s systems are running smoothly. This means making sure our 100+ staff can carry out their work effectively and efficiently whether they’re in the office or out and about.

We’ve got big ambitions to offer web based, friction free services to our customers, and you would be key to this. We have a rock solid platform from which to innovate and try out new things

You’ll also be:

  • Working in a fully virtualised environment with multiple sites
  • Looking to further progress the inter-operation of company systems to improve cross-platform reporting
  • Involved with the replacement of the housing management system
  • Managing our phone systems, internet and phone lines and printer contracts
  • Ensuring the business continuity of our IT systems

We work well with people who have solid technical skills and a strong desire to innovate and try new things.

Other areas that play to your strengths are:

  • Holding a relevant degree
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Ability to manage diverse workloads
  • Project management experience
  • Procurement / supplier management
  • Knowledge of emerging technology

Salary

£41,000 – £44,999 per annum pro rata
