Want 2 Work drop in sessions

Thinking of returning to work but don’t know where to start? Want 2 Work may be able to help.

Our new Want 2 Work drop in sessions will be of particular interest to people who are:

  • Currently in receipt of Incapacity Benefit. Changes to welfare benefits will mean the money you receive will change. Want 2 Work can offer advice and information about this and how you can find suitable routes into training and employment.
  • Currently out of work (but not receiving Job Seekers Allowance) and living in Splott, Adamsdown, Tremorfa, Ely, Caerau, St Mellons, Llanrumney, Fairwater, Riverside or Grangetown. Want 2 Work’s services are available to residents living in most Communities 1st areas. They can help with job searches and routes into training and employment.

These sessions will run weekly on a Wednesday from 9th November, from 9am to 12noon in the TRAP room, Cadwyn’s Office.

Future Wednesday sessions will also feature representatives from Careers Wales, Enterprise Centres and Job Centre Plus.
