Cadwyn tenants are charged rent in order to maintain their tenancy with us.
A rent statement is sent to tenants on a quarterly basis, which gives details of all rent payments and rent charges made to the account and also provides a summary of any other debts e.g. court costs or rechargeable repairs.
You must pay your rent and any service charges every Monday, weekly in advance. You can pay in a number of ways:
Set up a Direct Debit – please download the Direct Debit Mandate below and send it back to us so we can arrange all the details with your bank or buiding society.
Pay by phone - call Allpay on 0844 557 8321 – You will need your 19-digit payment number found on your Allpay swipe card as well as your debit or credit card.
Pay using your AllPay Swipe Card – at any Post Office or any shop displaying the Paypoint sign
Pay by cash – At a Post Office or shop via Paypoint or at our office.
Pay by cheque – At our office in person or by post to 197 Newport Road, Cardiff, CF24 1AJ.
Housing Benefit
If you are receiving Housing Benefit, you will get a payment every 4 weeks from the Council. You can tell the Council to pay your Housing Benefit directly to us. This is a service that many tenants find convenient and most of our tenants pay their rent this way.
