Ely Play centre benefits from new play area
We have just installed a new cycle track and play area at Ely Play Centre in partnership with Cardiff Council and WRW Construction.
We are currently working together with both organisations on the Greenfarm Road redevelopment and as part of this project were able to help a local community group.
The Greenfarm Road redevelopment is a joint venture to redevelop a Council owned Homelessness Hostel and provide the housing association with 10 affordable homes.
Ely Play Centre provides somewhere for children and young people to socialise, have fun and take part in a wide range of free play activities. The Centre is an open access facility for children 5-14years in the local community and is a safe and supervised place for children to attend.
The children, young people and staff at the Centre all decided that a cycle track along with a play area and cycle racks would be a great addition to the facilities already offered at the Centre. The new play area was completed at the end of July and is already a huge success with local children.
