What We Do

Cadwyn was set up in 1972 to provide good quality, affordable homes for people in the Cardiff area. We house all sectors of the community who are in housing need. we do this in partnership with Cardiff County Council, other local authorities, and other voluntary and statutory partners.

Cadwyn Housing Association grew from a group formed by Catholic Housing Aid Society in 1972 and was registered with the Housing Corporation in 1974 as Family Housing Association (Cardiff) Ltd., It merged with Single Parent Housing Association in 1986 becoming Family Housing Association (South Wales) Ltd., and changed its name to "CADWYN" in 1993.

With the exception of Nightingale House, all services are provided from the registered office at 197 Newport Road, Cardiff
